This will be the new online home of the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in Washington, DC.

Many of the resources that will be available on this website are currently in development, and in the coming weeks will be added for the use of our online visitors, including timely news about developments in the DRC, official statements from and policies of the government, information for Congolese Americans, helpful facts and figures about the DRC, upcoming events and holidays, and more. In the meantime, you will continue to have access to our Consular Services via this home page.

The goal of the new, interactive Embassy website is to provide visitors with an opportunity to learn more about the DRC, whether it be to connect with relatives, pursue business ventures, explore tourism opportunities, or better understand the aspirations of our dynamic population.

I am honored by the opportunity to represent our government in the United States at this dynamic time for both our nations. The DRC is emerging as a stable and promising leader in Africa, with improved security, a growing economy and a commitment to democratic governance – hallmarks of a nation that is looking to a hopeful future with regional partners, global investors and fellow democracies. Our relationship with the U.S. is particularly important in this regard as the DRC seeks to advance diplomatic engagement, secure foreign investment and make important contributions to the international community.

On behalf of the entire Embassy team, we look forward to sharing our new website soon and welcome any questions or feedback.
